What LED voltage is this LED effect generator designed for?

12 to 24V DC with constant voltage. Perfect for common LED strips at 12V or 24V, used in kitchens, furniture or on ceilings – or for the 24V modules from the GKORE CINE Series such as the DEMETER 22W or DEMETER 52W.

How does this LED effect generator differ from the USB-C model (CT0032)?

The input voltage and power. CT0033 runs on 12–24V DC and delivers 4A per channel – around four times the power of the USB-C version (CT0032) with 5V and 2A/channel. If you want to operate larger LED setups or 24V modules, this controller is the right choice.

Can I commission individual effects?

How do I connect the controller?

The dimmer has solder pads instead of connectors. This means that the LED strips and power supply are soldered directly to it. This results in a very stable, long-lasting, and reliable connection—ideal for permanent installations or custom LED setups with limited space.

What does 30kHz PWM Frequency mean for film applications?

Flicker-free light, even in slow motion and at high frame rates. Cameras do not record any visible banding effects, even at short shutter speeds – this is crucial for professional video work.

How do I connect this to 24V LED modules?

Power supply (12–24V DC) to the supply pads, LED module to the output pads of the respective channel. For a 2-channel CCT module such as the DEMETER 22W, each channel (warm white/cool white) is connected to one output, then you can mix the colour temperature steplessly via the potentiometer.

Can I customise the firmware myself?

Yes. The firmware is open source and will be provided on GitHub. With knowledge of C/C++ and embedded development you can implement custom effects. Alternatively we offer custom development for a fee.

This compact yet powerful controller enables precise, flicker-free control of constant-voltage LED strips and modules, handling up to 4 A per channel. Thanks to a 30 kHz PWM frequency, fine 10-bit dimming resolution, and two integrated potentiometers, lighting effects can be adjusted with ease.

To get you started quickly, various effects are pre-installed and can be selected directly via the DIP switch. A trigger input is also available, allowing you to activate the LED output on demand—perfect for creative projects and custom applications.
