Product information "GKORE FX2 nano 2ch LED Effect Controller USB-C"
High-quality light effects with our 2-channel LED effect generator!
This small and powerful 5V-based controller gives you the ability to control constant-voltage LED strips and LED modules with up to 2 A per channel flicker-free and precisely – thanks to the 30 kHz PWM, high 10-bit dimming resolution and the two potentiometers. Ideal for smaller LED applications, our generator already includes pre-installed effects that can be easily selected via the DIP switch. The additional trigger input activates the LED output when needed.
5 pre-installed effects and dimming functions:
- CCT dimming
- Candle flicker
- Blink 50/50
- Fade IN/OUT
- 2-channel dimming
And the best part: We provide the firmware as open source.
This means you can create and use your own individual effects.

Frequently Asked Questions
The controller operates with constant voltage at 5 V. It is a perfect match for 5 V LED strips and the 5 V modules from the GKORE CINE Series, such as the BAR2x3 CCT 5V. For 12 or 24 V setups, the FX2 nano 2 (CT0033) is the better choice.
The FX1 nano has only one channel with up to 4 A. The FX2 nano USB-C has two channels at 2 A each – so the same total output, but split across two outputs. If you want to control two independent light sources (e.g. warm white + cool white for CCT mixing), this controller is the right choice.
30 kHz is far above the frequencies that appear as flickering in camera recordings. You can film in slow motion, work with high frame rates and have no banding artefacts. This is a basic requirement for professional video work.
Yes. The complete firmware is available as open source on GitHub. With embedded development knowledge (C/C++) you can program custom effects, sequences or control logic.
It allows you to switch the LED output from outside – via button, sensor or microcontroller. Useful e.g. for props that should only light up at the push of a button, or for effects that start at a specific point in the setup.
For small to medium LED setups yes. A typical 5 V LED strip draws 0.5–1 A per metre, so 2 A is sufficient for several metres of strip or several modules connected in parallel. For larger setups with 12 or 24 V and 4 A/channel, the FX2 nano 2 (CT0033) is suitable.
The 5 V modules of the GKORE CINE Series, especially the BAR2x3 series. You can find an overview in the LED Modules category.
