Thanks to professional Lumenradio CRMX technology, the Blackbird FX transmits a complete DMX universe with up to 512 channels at maximum data rate. A simple mode switch allows the device to be used either as a transmitter or as an RDM-capable receiver.

IP65 means: dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. So yes, light rain, spray water and dust are not a problem. For complete underwater environments, IP67/68 would be required.
