What is the difference from the 0.4W version (A30024)?

This 2.5W version is the high-power variant: 5× 150mA instead of 5× 30mA. It delivers significantly more luminous flux but requires a correspondingly more powerful drive circuit. The 0.4W version (A30024) is suited for strips and modules with many LEDs per metre, where the individual chip power is low.

What does RGBWW vs. RGBCCT mean?

RGBWW has two white channels (warm + cool) – technically identical to RGBCCT. The chip contains red, green, blue, a warm white phosphor (2700K) and a cool white phosphor (6500K). All 5 channels are independently controllable.

How many pins do I need on the controller?

5 independent PWM outputs (common anode: 5 channels + 1 shared positive = 6 pins at the connector). For DMX-controlled systems use a 5-channel DMX dimmer.
