The difference is minimally perceptible. Both are deep amber for candle/oil lamp character. The 3030 chip (1 W) delivers significantly more luminous flux (75 lm) than the 2835 0.5W (30 lm) – ideal when more brightness at the same colour temperature is desired.
The 3030 chip (3.0 × 3.0 mm) is larger and can handle more power. At 1 W it offers higher luminance on a smaller area than multiple 0.5W chips. Good for applications where a single, bright point of light is required.
