Why does the green LED deliver significantly more lumens than the blue or red?

The human eye is most sensitive in the green range (~555nm). Green LEDs at 525nm are close to this maximum and therefore achieve the highest lumen values for the same radiant power. This is why green LEDs in RGB systems often need to be dimmed to achieve a balanced colour mix.

What is this LED used for?

As the green channel in RGB or RGBCCT systems, for green accent lighting, colour effects on film sets, or as an individual channel in custom-populated GKORE modules.

Is this LED available in other wavelengths?
