Frequently Asked Questions
For authentic candle, oil and gas lamp light. 1600K is significantly warmer than normal warm white (2700–3000K) and creates a very organic, historical lighting atmosphere – ideal for film props, decorative fixtures and atmospheric lighting.
The A30016 (2600K) is brighter (50 lm vs. 30 lm) and has a warm tungsten tone. This 1600K variant is deeper amber, closer to candlelight.
As an individual chip it requires a constant current source (150 mA) at approx. 3 V forward voltage. In GKORE modules such as the BAR2x3 or COB9, the drive circuitry is already integrated.
