How does individual population work?

You tell GKORE which LEDs you want – i.e. which colour temperature, wavelength or colour combination. The board (BAR2x2) is always the same; only the populated LEDs vary. The manufacturer then produces the module to your specification in-house in Berlin. Simply get in touch for enquiries.

What colour options are possible?

In principle any colour achievable with the available SMD 2835LEDs – from various white tones (1600K to 6500K), amber, red, green, blue to cyan. An overview of available individual chips is provided in the category LED SMD – COB.

What distinguishes this variant from the CCT version?

The CCT version (A60002-12CCT-HO) is populated with fixed 2600K and 6000K LEDs and is available immediately from stock. The individual variant is manufactured to order and enables custom colour combinations – including monochromatic or mixed populations.

Can I have RGB or amber on the same module?

Yes, that is exactly what this variant enables. You could for example have one channel populated with amber LEDs and one with warm white – or channel 1 with red and channel 2 with blue for special effect fixtures.

What is the delivery time for individual population?

Since the module is manufactured to order, a slightly longer delivery time than standard variants should be expected. Please get in touch directly for information on current delivery times.

Which controller is suitable?

This depends on the chosen population. For 2-channel setups the GKORE FX2 nano 2 (CT0033) is well suited. For monochromatic applications the FX1 nano (CT0031) is sufficient.
