Why 6000K – what is the difference from 6500K?

6000K is the more commonly used film daylight – slightly warmer than 6500K (northern daylight). In CCT systems, 6000K is used as the cool white pole, combined with warm white (2500–2700K). 6500K appears marginally more bluish.
